Our Young Heroes Leadership Academy is looking for volunteers to work Mondays - Thursdays from 2pm - 6pm (Mondays and Wednesdays) and from 1:30pm - 6pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
We will need assistance with the following:
- Handle attendance, sign-ups and Parent sign-outs
- Distribute snacks, drinks, flyers and literature on school grounds
- Monitor kids during Marching Drills, Physical Fitness training, Sports/Recreation, tutoring, and other activities
- Translating in Spanish (when necessary)

Mission Statement
Our mission is to create young community leaders through our Young Heroes Leadership Academy, which is a mobile after school program that provides leadership development, military style training, life skills training, health and physical fitness, and community service to youth ages 7 - 17.
Description
Heroes Rescue Mission is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that hires professional military veterans to serve as instructors and mentors to our youth. Our Young Heroes Leadership Academy has been approved by the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and is currently operating at schools within the county.
