Hi!

We need help reaching out to other local Jackson, Mississippi organizations in our effort to build a strong community of support for the needy of Jackson.

We want to learn a little about them, what they do, and the type of services they offer.

You can inform them of what we do, such as feeding the homeless every Friday at 6PM in Smith Park, and see how they can offer support (either through donations or sending hungry people)

This position is not at all limited, so for example, if you want to speak to the manager at Best Buy, feel free.

Ideally, we would like to build a network of restaurants over time that can offer free basic meals to those in need and they would be financially compensated through our network. Those restaurants can make a special account/donation box just for R U Hungry and receive donations on our behalf. Then with that money, if a homeless or needy hungry person walks in, the restaurant owner can use part of that donated money to supply a basic meal to the person in need.

Let your imagination run wild, we need and love creative solutions to the current problems facing our society.

This opportunity can be done in person (preferable) but if you are great at making connections online or over the phone, you can do that too.

Smith Park was just put as an arbitrary epicenter because that is where many of the homeless are generally.
