Summary

The Assistant Volunteer Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support functions that allow Catholic Charities' Westside Head Start to implement quality and timely services in the community while furthering our mission to help our community’s most vulnerable with solutions that permanently improve lives. This position will assist with volunteer engagement through assisting with scheduling, supporting, appreciating, and verifying hours.

Time Commitment

Flexible - The office is open M-F from 8am-5pm. The schedule will be determined with the supervisor. School year committment requested.

Tasks

• Track and verify volunteer hours at the end of each month

• Assist with volunteer orientation and training

• Assist with planning volunteer meetings and agenda

• Assist in coordinating and scheduling activities on the monthly calendar

• Assist with appreciating and recognizing volunteer efforts
