Communications Chairperson Wanted.
The Bain Center Council is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that supports the Bain 50+ Center and seniors in Howard County. The Council raises funds, and then arranges and sponsors activities and events. The Council is looking for an individual that has the following skills and abilities:
The individual must work well with other Council members and Bain Center staff.
The individual must have computer skills.
The individual is able to create promotional flyers for Council sponsored events.
The individual is able to edit and publish the Council newsletter which is published three or four times per year.
The individual is able to operate and maintain a Google Aps database of contacts. The database is used to distribute information about Council sponsored events.
This volunteer position will require about 12 hours per month. If you are looking for a way to use your skills to "give back", then please respond.
