People Incorporated is gearing up for the Artability Show & Sale and we need volunteers!
Whether you are an art lover or an artist yourself, the Artability Show & Sale is the place to be this fall.
With over 100 artists showcasing more than 400 pieces of visual art including paintings, mixed media and sculptures, the Artability Show & Sale is something that people will be talking about for years to come.
This year, the show will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 28-29 th , at the Great Hall in Saint Paul.
Artability is vital to the work of People Incorporated in helping individuals living with mental illnesses to work toward achieving their goals related to living independent and enriched lives. The show is a source of inspiration and pride for the area’s mental health community, and encourages artists to explore their interests, share their love of art, and gain confidence in their skills. Artists may sell their work at the show and receive 80% of the profits, with the remaining 20% going back to support the Artability program.
The Artability program is open to any adult (18+) with a mental health diagnosis.

Pre-Show Support Volunteer Opportunities Will be Monday October 24 th -Wednesday October 26 th from 8am-6pm.
**Show and Sale Volunteers Opportunities Will be Thursday October 27 th 4pm-9pm, Friday October 28 th 3pm-9pm, Saturday October 27 th 10am-8pm and Sunday October 28 th 10am-8pm
*** After-Show Support Volunteer Opportunities Will be Monday, Octo 31 st from 8am-6pm.

Description
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is a Twin Cities-based nonprofit providing a spectrum of services through nearly 60 programs in the greater metro area. Supporting mental health and wellness in our community through collaboration and integration of care is our mission, and it means that we provide people with mental illness with the help they need to avoid hospitalization and institutionalization and live hopeful, meaningful lives in the community. We specialize in serving people who have both mental illness, and a secondary impediment such as: Deafness, chemical dependency, a developmental disability, homelessness, or seizure disorder. We’re known for creating innovative services tailored to the needs of each individual-and we’ve been doing it successfully for nearly 50 years.
