Our Homeless Services Division is currently looking for one of more volunteers to support us with Onsite Service Coordination at Kimball Courts or American House from now until the end of December. This role would report to the current Onsite Service Coordinator and would provide support through help with creating the newsletter, assistance with social activities, and assisting with other tasks as assigned. This would be a great way to learn about the human service field, as well as acquire gainful knowledge and experience in the field of mental health. Who we serve
People Incorporated’s On-Site Service Coordination provides direct, consumer-oriented services to individuals and families in four apartment complexes.
Services we provideThe range of services provided includes, but is not limited to, housing support, living skills education, crisis management, conflict resolution, benefits assistance, community building, and referral and linkages to services. Additionally, we collaborate with the apartment complex owners and property managers to support and maintain occupancy.

About our feesServices are funded through partnerships with Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative and The Cornerstone Group.
About our staffOn Site Service Coordinators provide services in each building. Housing First Case Managers provide housing support to GRH Housing First clients. Staff consult with off-site RN and LICSW.
Hours of operationHours are vary week to week, but Service Coordinators generally work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is a Twin Cities-based nonprofit providing a spectrum of services through nearly 60 programs in the greater metro area. Supporting mental health and wellness in our community through collaboration and integration of care is our mission, and it means that we provide people with mental illness with the help they need to avoid hospitalization and institutionalization and live hopeful, meaningful lives in the community. We specialize in serving people who have both mental illness, and a secondary impediment such as: Deafness, chemical dependency, a developmental disability, homelessness, or seizure disorder. We’re known for creating innovative services tailored to the needs of each individual-and we’ve been doing it successfully for nearly 50 years.
