Do you have basic fix-it-up skills? We are looking for a group of adult volunteers to come to our physical rehabilitation center for seniors on Saturday, Oct. 1st during daytime hours to help our maintenance guy with some basic repairs around the facility. Touch-up painting in the hallways, caulking around sinks in patient bathrooms, removing wheelchair scuff marks from baseboards, repairing some minor nicks in the walls, and any other little thing to help our facility be a little nicer for the patients. Come on your own, or with a group-- exact times are flexible! Come for an hour, or six-- whatever works in your schedule! You will be working alongside staff the whole time, and we will make sure there's no standing around or wasted time. If you want to make a difference by getting your hands dirty, this is the experience for you! If you'll be working for more than a few hours, we are happy to throw in lunch, too. Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
