Key Responsibilities

New Knowledge Adventures (NKA)

  • Work with staff to develop class descriptions & submit paperwork
  • Attend AARP Facilitator Training and provide class facilitation for instructors
  • Contact class participants to confirm attendance

Togetherhood

  • Provide administrative assistance to Togetherhood Committee Chair
  • Attend committee meetings for one year, providing agendas and any needed documents, taking notes, and typing up notes for recordkeeping
  • Assist Chair in contacting and scheduling meetings with partner organizations

Time Commitment

  • This is a long-term commitment with 10-15 hrs per month (approx. 2-4 hrs./week)

Requirements - (Age & Certification Requirements)

  • Background Check
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Candidates will be interviewed by staff, and ideal candidates will move on to next steps
  • CPR Certification not required but beneficial
