VOLUNTEER STATEMENT - At The National Addiction Awareness Museum& More, we take pride and enjoy finding experienced, time-generous folks to assist in all our departments. We view the volunteer’s experience, wisdom, life skills and guidance as invaluable assets to our mission. Volunteers are priority positions in which we invest a great deal of hope, trust and energy for collaboration. The National Addiction Awareness Museum & More’s volunteers will leave a permanent footprint of their contributions on the Museum year after year after year.

You may not have heard about the National Addiction Awareness Museum & More yet, so let me tell you about the largest undertaking in the nation to create addiction awareness for all.

TheNational Addiction Awareness Museum & More will be a 400,000 square foot, Class "A" museum and will include over 30 permanent exhibits and interactive exhibits, Theater, Chapel, Cafeteria, Awareness Resource Centers, Classrooms,12 Step Meeting Rooms, Convention Center, Campgrounds, and a Retreat Hotel.

However, it will be more than just a museum! It will also include forums and classroom workshops as well as day-long conferences and multi-day conventions.

TheNational Addiction Awareness Museum & More will be the "destination of addiction awareness" for the United States and beyond.

As you may know, addiction is the #1 health issue in the United States and our goal is to assemble a talented team of various disciplines and backgrounds in order to make the museum a reality. We are currently in our second stage of feasibility studies and planning, and the time is now to build our Pioneer Footprint Museum Volunteer Team.

We are a drug-free working team and all team members, as well as volunteers, need to be alcohol, drug, and nicotine-free 24/7.

Our mission is to provide a fascinating and immersive experience where anyone can acquire a vast knowledge of the history, science, culture and economics of addiction and emerge with new insight and a deeper understanding.

Our purpose is to create a whole new way to tackle a difficult topic that affects all of us. The museum will deliver information in a unique, scientific, multi-sensory, interactive, and approachable environment.
