Job Description:

Individual will acknowledge food order received over the intercom and begin filling the order. A "food formula" is provided, explaining the quantities of each type of food (vegetables, fruit, soup, etc), volunteer will use their judgement to complete order. Once complete, volunteer will collect client ticket, track number of bags prepared and have client sign for groceries.

Job Duties:

Volunteer will complete food orders as received, track all outgoing groceries, assist with restocking shelves when appropriate, prep bags for busy times, when available bag fresh vegetables for distribution.

Skills/Abilities:

Volunteer must be able to stand for periods of time, bend, and lift up to ten pounds or less. Basic common sense when selecting food items. Pleasant demeanor when speaking to clients. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment at times.

Days/Times:

This position needs a permanent volunteer. The shift are:

M - F (morning) 9-12:30 (afternoon) 1-3:30
