ORGANIZATION: Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement

We are looking for Mandarin or Cantonese speakers who can volunteer to help translate for the growing number of seniors from the Asian population at our senior center. Volunteering would take place once or twice a week with flexible hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the senior center. If interested, please fill out an application at link below:

Description

A multi-service community-based organization in Long Island City Queens, Riis Settlement offers after-school programs for youth, adolescent services, immigrant services, including adult ESOL classes, and Senior Citizen support programs.
