The Salvation Army Traverse City provides a variety of youth programs for area children and youth ages 4-17 yrs, on Tuesday evenings (4-6:15pm). These include character building programs, music instruction, arts & crafts, and more. Our programs focus on positive youth activities and character building. The goal of the programs are to build positive social and communication habits, decision making and life skills, and build character and leadership skills with Christian values.
We are looking for volunteers who can teach and assist with these activities. If you have knowledge of music, the ability to plan and conduct arts and crafts, possess a special skill that would be useful in children/youth activities, or if you just want to help out, please consider sharing your time and talents.
