Job Description: Public Affairs Activists serve in a wide range of capacities, including door-to-door canvassing in Central California and Nevada, on the phone activism, lobbying at the Capitol, social media advocacy, and community engagement. Activists will voice support and advocate for reproductive health and rights.
Time Commitment: On-call and as needed. Opportunities are available year round.
Location: Central California and Nevada.
Qualifications:
Interest in reproductive health care, education, and women's issues.
Excellent communication skills.
Good proactive attitude.
Responsible and professional.

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM) is the largest Planned Parenthood affiliate in the U.S., providing medical and education services to more than 250,000 people annually at our 32 health center locations in 42 counties in mid-California and northern Nevada.
Health services include birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, prenatal care, abortion, adult general care, breast and cervical cancer screening, pediatrics and well-baby care as well as testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV testing, and sterilization.
