Join the DMPA team as a volunteer for Luminarium!

WE NEED YOU!
We are seeking to build a dynamic team of docents to guide and educate guests as they experience ARBORIA Luminarium. This opportunity is ideal for those interested in art, architecture, event management, theater, culture and education. Four hour shifts will rotate between various positions in ticket sales, supervision of environment, flow of foot traffic, engagement with guests and will include a 30 minute break. Please sign up by Monday, September 19th.

Docent volunteers must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Execute all physical demands of various positions
  • Positively engage with guests
  • Provide educational material and speak to small groups
  • Commit to at least 2 shifts throughout the 4 day event
  • Attend a 45 minute training session on Wednesday, September 21st at 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm, or 6:00 pm

* Expanded our programming to include The Dance Series, The Temple Comedy Series and the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Family Series.

* Operate the Stoner Theater, Temple Theater and Cowles Commons.

* Have a special Applause Series and a robust Education Department to provide educational opportunities for area students.
