Building and General Maintenance Volunteers Needed

Our Mission:Ozanam provides safe and nurturing environments so at-risk youth and young adults can be successful.

Ozanam Pathways Wichita Transitional Living Program (TLP) is seeking volunteer building and general maintenance workers to help with facility upkeep and minor repair of equipment, furnishings and facilities. If you are at least 21 years old, enjoy working with your hands and have a friendly personality, this position may be for you!

Examples of some of the tasks that need to be completed include:

• Maintains facility exterior and interior including painting, floors, windows, locks, etc.

• Performs minor household/office repairs

• Routinely completes facility safety inspections

• Maintains records on household maintenance supplies

• General cleaning - Cleaning windows, Sweeping floors, walking grounds for trash pick-up, vacuuming

• Trash removal, special cleaning projects

• Will require some walking, bending, and carrying depending on duties assigned

• May work with maintenance staff doing supervised, general labor

• Any other assigned tasks as needed

• Due to the nature of our work, prospective volunteers will be required to submit to a background check. Once that clears, the individual will be required to complete a confidentiality agreement upon acceptance of the volunteer position.
