Our Thanks for Giving outreach is a huge outreach for families in Cobb County, and we are preparing for that right now. We will need at least 520 volunteers to ensure that this will be the best Thanks for Giving in more than 30 years that we’ve had this event.
We will have registration in October for Thanks for Giving. On Tuesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 11th, we will register families to receive Thanksgiving meals. Each day, we will need 50 volunteers who can give 5 hours, and they will provide customer service as these families sign up for Thanks for Giving. Registration will take place at the newly renovated Cobb Civic Center. Here’s the registration schedule breakdown for Tuesday:

3:00-8:00 p.m. (25 volunteers needed)
