Come volunteer usher at the Paul Dresher Ensemble at its performances 9/23-25 of the incredible invented instrument work SCHICK MACHINE, starring virtuoso percussionist Steve Schick.

For over 30 years the Ensemble has presented pathbreaking works of experimental music theater and electro-acoustic chamber music around the San Francisco Bay Area and on tour across the US, Europe, and Asia. Led by acclaimed composer Paul Dresher, the Ensemble creates, produces and premieres multidisciplinary performances that reach for the highest artistic standards.

Description

The Paul Dresher Ensemble creates, produces and premieres works of new opera/music theater; commissions and premieres new electro-acoustic chamber music; offers technical, financial, and advisory assistance to local artists; and through the Dresher Ensemble Artists Residency, awards free, multi-week studio residencies annually to six Northern California artists at work in the time-based arts.
