First Graduate invites you to join us for an evening of college conversations.
On Wednesday, October 26, our high school sophomores will begin the intimidating, yet exciting process of finding the right college fit. We invite you to share your personal college choice experiences with our students and help them discern how to make good choices for themselves. Each volunteer will work with 1-2 students to coach them through this exploration process. Volunteers do not need previous college counseling experience and will be guided through this evening by the First Graduate staff.
We have two requirements for each volunteer:
1. Please bring a laptop or tablet! Our students will need to access collegeboard.org to complete this activity. If you don't have one available let us know and we'll try to come up with an alternative.
2. Come prepared to have an open, honest, and positive conversation with a student. This will be the first in many college conversations our students will have over the next few years. This is the ideal evening to start off this process of college exploration with positivity and excitement!
TO SIGN UP: Fill out the First Graduate volunteer form located at firstgraduate.org/volunteer. Then, email Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org with "Find Your Fit" in the subject line.
