Hope for the Holidays

The Hope for the Holidays Volunteer Coordinator will manage CHS’s annual toy drive in their local region. Volunteer coordinators will report directly to CHS Program Staff in Charlotte, Greensboro, or Raleigh. Volunteer Coordinators will be expected to work a minimum of four hours per day for a total of 20 hours per week, beginning in September, through December 16, 2016. This position may be used in exchange for school credit.


Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Securing gift lists from CHS Program staff
* Assist with mailing letters to sponsors
* Organizing and matching gift lists to sponsors
* Organizing gifts at local CHS office
* Coordinating distribution of gifts to foster families


Ideal Volunteer Coordinators will be:
* Personable, well-spoken and professional
* Extremely organized
* Passionate about the work of CHS


Miscellaneous Requirements
* Must have a license and a personal vehicle
* Must be 18 or older
