Here at the City of Duarte we have 13 different parks; each park being different from the rest. With this diversity each park has different needs and it is sometimes hard for our amazing staff here at the City of Duarte to fill that need. This is where Adopt-A-Park comes in to play. The major role of Adopt-A-Park is to find volunteers and groups of volunteers to help make the community better in many ways.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Adopt-A-Park program in the City of Duarte is to create volunteer groups of people to maintain and beautify our local park. The City of Duarte believes that parks provide countless health, social, environmental and economic benefits to communities and maintaining them is essential. Our Adopt-A-Park volunteers will play a key role in keeping our parks beautiful.

- Volunteers will gain a sense of community by adopting their local park
- Volunteers will increase the cleanliness and quality of our parks and facilities through organized park and beautification days
- Volunteers will take ownership of their adopted park and become dedicated to the safety of its visitors, upkeep of its grouds and equipment and overall park appearance
