We are looking for a volunteer for the local chapter of ChickTech. This opportunity would be to recruit girls from local high schools to our high school program.
This will include acting as a liaison to the local schools/parents/girls to recruit and manage the pipeline to get girls signed up for our events.
Our ideal leader will have some or all of the below:
- Experience with youth programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to work in a collaborative style
- Excellent interpersonal skills that establish and maintain credibility and relationships
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting 100 girls into the program
- Following up with the girls/parents for the monthly workshops.

Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
