Sharktober is around the corner! Join the ORF Force and help us celebrate sharks.
Help the Ocean Research Foundation (ORF) with our Sharktober events starting from September 29th and going on through the end of October. Currently we have four events planned with the possibility of a few more as Sharktober approaches. There is also the possibility to continue to help us throughout the year with similar events.
We are specifically looking for help tabling during outreach events, coordinating events, designing flyers and spreading the word on social media.

About Ocean Research Foundation (ORF)
Location:
San Francisco Bay Area, San Francisco, CA 94122, US
Mission Statement
ORF is dedicated to the advancement of marine conservation. Our primary goals are to support and conduct marine research and education to enhance stewardship of ocean resources.
Description
Members of ORF, like many others, love the ocean and recognize its importance for our survival. More so, we value the importance of making these changes at a local level and inspiring our San Francisco Bay Area community to work along with us. Our biggest strength is the eclectic make-up of our team. Yet despite the myriad of paths we all started on, we came to the same realization: Our Oceans, Our Lives. A reality we feel that anyone from any background can understand. As individuals, we consist of musicians, fishermen, construction workers, marine biologists, artists and even a ten-year old dynamo (just to name a few). As ORF, we join together to showcase our years of experience in local fishing, marine education, and research such as shark tagging.
