We need you. That’s right, you heard correctly. We, here at St. Francis, need your help. We aren’t seeking donations; we aren’t looking for supplies. We are asking for something much more important; we are asking you to join our family and become a volunteer with us this summer. Join the team, join the family, and experience something completely new, something completely worthwhile.

Okay, so we’re asking you to become a volunteer. We obviously need your help and want you to join us, so it’s obvious that we benefit from you becoming part of the family. That makes sense. But have you ever thought about what you will get out of this?

Long days, hard work, puppy kisses? You will get those things, but you’ll experience so much more along with it.

You’ll be interacting with like-minded individuals that will help fuel your passion for these unwanted animals. You’ll be learning new skills every step of the way, and gaining new friends along with them. You will experience things you’ve never dreamed of, and watch many animals find their perfect fits in forever homes. You may take part in a late night rescue, you may transport an animal on its "freedom ride," and know that because of you, they aren’t facing certain death anymore. You could bottle feed puppies, or watch them be born, you could comfort a senior animal as their days come to an end. Whatever your passion is, we will help you find it.

You never know what you’ll be getting into when you join this team, but I can promise you one thing; you won’t ever regret it.
