Mentoring at ACE
Mentor being recognition from the City of Los Angeles for her commitment to impacting a young person's life through mentoring.

Don't let physical distancing keep you from making a difference in the lives of San Fernando Valley youth!

ACE Mentoring connects adults from the community with ACE YouthBuild students ages 16-24 who are working to earn their high school diplomas while also training for a career and developing leadership and life skills. We have moved to a 100% remote model, and we are looking for mentors to continue our mission of providing support and guidance to the young people in our programs!

The youth in our programs are from families and communities that have been particularly impacted by loss of income due to COVID-19. Now more than ever, mentors are needed to provide social and emotional support to help them thrive in these challenging times.

Mentors provide both general encouragement and specific support in helping our students achieve their dreams and plan for the future.

Our mentors:

* Start with a 3-month commitment to group mentoring

* Have the option of committing to a 9-month match with a youth

* Support their mentees in reaching their goals

* Receive a wealth of support and training from our staff

* Have a lot of fun
