Help grandparents raising grandchildren with special needs have a merry Chirstmas! Volunteers help with the organization of Project GRANDD's Adopt-a-Family program by:
- Contacting participating families for their wish lists
- Shopping for wish list items
- Organziing gifts and food donations
- Wrapping gifts
- Transporting and distributing gifts and food donations
- Spreading the word about the program
This can be a great family volunteer experience!
Gift wrapping will take place at 501 Grant St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30312 (St. Paul UMC)

The mission of Innovative Solutions for Disadvantage & Disability is to empower, educate and equip kinship caregivers of disadvantaged relative children in Metro Atlanta.
Description
Project GRANDD is the largest kinship caregiver program in the the Atlanta Metro Area, the only program serving the entire metro area and the only caregiver program in Georgia providing supportive services to grandparents raising grandchildren with developmental disabilities, chronic health conditions and learning and behavior disorders. Project GRANDD provides support groups, case management, training, education and referrals to support stable, safe and loving families. All services are provided at no charge.
