Soon the holiday season will be upon us and the joy will be felt throughout Central Maryland. For many of Central Maryland's families in need, these can be stressful times as well. One way that United Way and it's partners help families in need during this time is through the Harvest of Plenty (HOP) project. HOP is a community project, led by United Way, providing the necessary ingredients in bringing a memorable Thanksgiving meal to fruition. A key component to the success of this project is signing up the families through the 2-1-1 call center. Each HOP basket will need to be assigned to a family and this is done through the fantastic volunteers at 2-1-1. If you would like to be a part of this exciting opportunity please express your interest today.
