Love Piedmont Park & running? Sign up to make a difference for Piedmont Park by lending a hand at the Annual PNC 10 Miler event on Sunday, October 22nd!

Opportunity Details:

  • Event takes place Sunday, October 22 nd from 6:45 am - 11 am
  • Volunteers will lend a hand by cheering runners on at the Piedmont Park Conservancy Cheer Zone
  • This event takes place outdoors and is rain or shine
  • Age Requirement: 8 and up. Volunteers under the age of 16 MUST have a parent or legal guardian volunteer with them
  • All volunteers must sign a liability waiver
  • Volunteers under the age of 18 must have this liability waiver signed in advance by their parent or legal guardian
  • We encourage volunteers to bring a water bottle with them
  • This is a great opportunity for individuals, families or groups

Race Details:

  • Piedmont Park Conservancy is one of 10 nonprofits selected as part of PNC’s Adopt A Mile Program
  • Participating nonprofits can raise up to $5,000 for their organization by cheering on race participants along their adopted mile
  • The racecourse starts and finishes at Atlantic Station and leads runners through Buckhead
  • Piedmont Park Conservancy Cheer Zone location is TBD. We will provide you with our location along the racecourse and parking information 1-2 weeks prior to October 22, 2017

How to Sign Up:

  • Email us at volunteer@piedmontpark.org
  • If you would like to volunteer as a group, please provide us with the following information: group number, number of volunteers in group, and the best contact information for your group. Groups with minors must have one adult chaperone per every 10 minors.
