Carver Scott Humane Society (CSHS) is dedicated to connecting animals in need with people who care. CSHS helps pets transition from being lost to found with the help of our network of volunteers and loving foster families.
CSHS is seeking a PR and social media savvy candidate for the Media Coordinator volunteer position.
The Media Coordinator will be responsible for helping to develop an online community while managing social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) platforms. This position will work with other CSHS coordinators to make sure events are promoted, the website content is aligned with the social content and that the online community is up to date on CSHS news. This position will also be responsible for working with media outlets to coordinate various PR opportunities, when available.
Ideally, the right candidate will be outgoing, detail oriented and have a marketing background with strong social media knowledge and skills.
The estimated time requirement is between 5-15 hours each week but may be slightly more or less, depending on the season and other circumstances.
