Carver Scott Humane Society (CSHS) is dedicated to connecting animals in need with people who care. CSHS helps pets transition from being lost to found with the help of our network of volunteers and loving foster families.
CSHS is seeking a dependable, aggressive self-starter for the Fundraising & Event Coordinator volunteer position.
The Fundraising & Event Coordinator will present fundraising ideas to the Executive Director and Advancement Manager, plan and organize fundraising events for CSHS and work with other coordinators to ensure that the events are properly advertised and staffed. This position will also interact with event attendees, oversee event supplies, coordinate with outside vendors, and direct the work of the event volunteers.
Ideally, the right candidate will be creative, have an outgoing personality, marketing and/or event planning experience, be detail oriented and have a strong passion for animals.
The estimated time requirement is between 5-15 hours each week but may be slightly more or less, depending on the season and other circumstances.
