HOME! It’s where you’re known; where your differences are accepted, even celebrated; where your wounds are healed; where your past is irrelevant and your future bright; where you find safety and rest and you’re never unwelcome! We’re looking for men, women and even youth to come and make a new home with us!
We are the Kingdom City Fellowship - a nondenominational teaching ministry of faith, hope, love and joy! We’re launching in the City of Rahway in September and are looking for committed and creative Christians to join our Ministry Development Team (MDT). MDT will be tasked with helping us develop programs, activities and services that benefit the church as well as the general community.
During MDT meetings we will begin the work of creating all of the elements that will make Kingdom City home for you and so many others. It is essential that we clarify that MDT members effectively become the first members of Kingdom City Fellowship in Rahway.
Here are just SOME of the ministry areas we need to develop:
- Adult Ministries (including men, women & seniors)
- Youth Ministry (including children and teens)
- Extension Ministries (military, prison, foster-care youth)
- Educational/Service Ministries (sorority, scouts, school)
- Music/Arts Ministries (step, dance, handbell, choir, praise team, drama)
- Audio/Visual Ministries (social media team, production team)
- Hospitality Ministries (greeters, ushers, pulpit aides)
We also have special activities that you will help plan including:
- Theme Sundays (Super Bowl, All Star Weekend, 80s weekend)
- Graduation Sunday/Teen Summit
- Victory Sunday
- DeevaSpree
- Back-to-School Drive
- Drive for the Homeless
- Family Picnic
- Family Weekend Retreat
- Convocation
We meet on Sundays for Bible Study from 11:30am to 1:30pm and will set the time for our leadership team meetings. We are located in the downtown area of Rahway, directly across the street from the Rahway train station.

The mission of MJHS is to aid in the provision of quality education and sound character building programs for young people.
Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
