Flight 33 is an afterschool program that offers homework help and basic needs assitance in the town of Gudalupe. Many children that attend bring young siblings that are preschool aged. For the past year and a half we have provided the preschoolers with lessons, games and attention during the hour and a half after school program while their older siblings are doing homework.
Volunteers will play and teach up to ten, usually 5 or 6, preschoolers for an hour and half twice a week.
We meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30.

Mission Statement
Through the help of generous donors and volunteers, the youth we serve:
Meet twice a week for tutoring, homework, art, music lessons;
Have educational outings to museums, art shows, science exhibits, concerts;
Meet with qualified adults to explore possibilities that will assist them in reaching a goal, such as finding educational programs, scholarships, camps, or job training;
Take part in music concerts, art shows or events in which youth can showcase their talents;
Participate in service opportunities in which youth can see a purpose and care about others.
Description
FLIGHT 33 serves and advocates for youth by assisting them in discovering their talents and strengths and encouraging the attainment of goals through guidance, tutoring, basic needs assistance, and meaningful projects.
