The Signature Chefs and Master Mixologists Gala pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs, mixologists and wineries in communities nationwide while raising funds to give every baby a health start. The event is geared towards individuals who enjoy fine dining, spirits, auctions and socializing. we are looking for some amazing volunteers over the age of 21 years old to help us pull off another successful event. A sell-out crowd of San Diego's finest will join our efforts to raise funds to support the March of Dimes mission to ensure that every baby has a health start in life.
We are looking for 30 volunteers to assist from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. This could be split into two shifts if that better suits the volunteers. The volunteer tasks would consist of:
1:00pm-3:00pm: Assist with Set up, including helping Chefs load in and set up their stations, setting up the tables, assisting with bar set up
3:30pm- 5:00pm: Escorting guests to their tables
4:00pm-6:00pm: Helping to clear trash during the tasting portion of the event
6:00pm-8:00pm: Assist with checkout/closing Silent Auction
8:00pm-9:00pm: Clean up and assist chefs with load out of their supplies as needed
We ask that volunteers who are assisting with Set up and Clean up wear appropriate clothing to do so, and all volunteers present during the event (4:00pm-8:00pm) wear more formal attire (Ladies-Cocktail dresses, Men - Slacks and a dress shirt). We ask that the volunteers stay for the whole duration of set-up of the event, execution during the event and clean-up after the event.
