As a USVESAN Volunteer Veterans Adviser, you will help our organization help Veterans, their dependents and survivors, complete their claims for benefits with local, state, and federal organizations such as the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
Our organization is not designed for face-to-face interactions so, the right volunteer needs to be tech-savvy, like the Veterans we seek to help.

Retired or ex-VA employees of Regional Offices will be given priority. Because of conflicts of interest, we are not able to work with volunteers that are currently working with VA.

Description
The United States Veterans Star Alliance Network, Inc. (USVESAN) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The specific purpose and objectives of the Corporation shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
A. To promote advocacy for Veterans, their dependents, and survivors;
B. To recruit volunteer advocates;
C. To provide training and education for such volunteers to assist them in
helping and educating Veterans that are needy of benefit education, by providing appropriate information, advocacy, counseling and monitoring of cases.
