CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of NH's abused & neglected children, who are caught up in the child welfare and juvenile court systems, to help them find their way into safe, permanent homes. By representing an abused or neglected child in court, CASA guardians ad litem help break the cycle of abuse & neglect and show these children the difference one caring, committed person can make. This is a "hands on" opportunity to make a difference in a child's life. CASA of NH represents children statewide, and we have offices in Keene, Colebrook, Plymouth, Dover and Manchester. We conduct training throughout the state. Apply online at www.casanh.org/onlineapplication.

Mission Statement

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire provides a voice for abused and neglected children and youth by empowering a statewide network of trained volunteers to advocate on their behalf so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.

Description

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire is a nonprofit that recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to serve as advocates for abused or neglected children throughout the state. CASA volunteer advocates get to know a child and the important people in that child’s life to provide vital information to help a judge make decisions based on the best interests of the child.

CASA advocates truly change a child’s story.

Since CASA was founded in 1989, we have given more than 10,000 New Hampshire children a voice in District and Family courts and a chance at a brighter future.
