ORGANIZATION: Sacramento Public Library - Arcade Library

Conversation Group

The Arcade Library seeks a dynamic volunteer to lead our popular Families Learn English group that meets on Saturdays from 9:00am to 10:00am. Program attendees include adults and children. The group leader prepares and conducts weekly lessons to help increase the learner's awareness of American culture and to help the learner gain familiarity with and confidence in speaking in English.

You have previous experience/education in teaching English as a second language. We encourage students currently enrolled in TESOL programs to apply. Fluency in Dari, Pashto, Farsi, Spanish and/or Arabic is required.

Position requires a background check via Live Scan.
