IF KIDS is a one day event that is a part of the larger event happening in downtown Louisville, Idea Festival. During this day, you will see partners and colleagues speaking to these middle school and high school students about their jobs, hobby’s, and anything that jazzes them, in hopes of encouraging those same innovative ideas to spark in these students. Partners like: KMAC, FirstBuild, Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation, Louisville Free Public Library, Mommy’s Best Games, Botanica, ATT, and AdvanceKentucky.

Each volunteer will be responsible for a group of about 20-30 students and rotate them in around KSC to different sessions and exhibits. They will sit in with each session (between 20-40 minutes each) and assist with movement logistics or assisting the presenter.

We will start the morning with students around 8:30am; therefore will need volunteers in the building by 7:30am for orientation. For orientation, each volunteer will receive a schedule for the day and the school they are guiding. This volunteer will also receive a map and will have 30 minute to roam KSC to plan out routes for moving students.

As we are expecting 500 students, so would like 15+ volunteers.
