Look Good Feel Better: Licensed Beauty Professionals Needed

Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is a free program, designed to help female cancer patients learn how to cope with the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments. Volunteers teach participants useful techniques to help restore their appearance and self-esteem through the use of make-up, wigs, scarves and other accessories. We are looking for estheticians, cosmetologists and hair stylists who are licensed in the state of Nevada to conduct some of the classes. We require volunteers to conduct a minimum of four classes per year. Volunteers must attend a 4-hour LGFB Training at their local American Cancer Society office to learn about all aspects of the program. Look Good Feel Better is a product-neutral program, so promotion of your salon or products is strictly forbidden during the LGFB class.
