Do you have great writing and story-telling skills? Would you like to apply those skills to write grants for affordable housing in our community? This is a significant training opportunity with Habitat for Humanity. We are seeking to expand our team with a Grant Writer Volunteer. Qualified individuals will be trained to evaluate government and foundation grant requirements, write focused grant requests, and work under the supervision of the executive director and development team.

Because Habitat staff will invest significant time in training, we require a minimum commitment of 3-6 months and at least 10 hours per week (no maximum). Volunteers can work remotely, from the Goose Creek office, or a combination of both.

This position requires excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. We are prepared to write a letter of recommendation for high-performing individuals that have volunteered at least 3 months.
