Join our efforts to support other nonprofits by turning donated media into liquid assets!
The Media Foundation is an Oregon 501(c)3 that converts in-kind media donations (i.e. CDs, DVDs, books, video games, software, etc.) into operating capital through the use of a free mobile app. This capital provides funding to the local nonprofit community.
How? You might ask. Media donations are processed by volunteers and staff and sold online through websites such as Amazon, eBay, Alibris, Half.com, and others.
What do volunteers do? Volunteers assist by sorting inventory, alphabetizing media, cleaning, prioritizing, and filing the book, CD, DVD, video game, and software donations we receive. We love repeat volunteers, but will gladly host anyone who would like to help!
You can volunteer at our office, or we can come to your location. If your workplace would like a volunteer opportunity in your office, we can bring boxes of media to you for a team-building sorting party!
