Each Tuesday from September 5th - October 10th we are looking for help with child care while their parents attend Love & Logic parenting classes. The classes begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm. We have games and toys for the kids to play with, and we just need a few more adults and teenagers who enjoy spending time with our kiddos. A Grove Elementary employee will also be there leading activities so theirs no pressure on our volunteers --just spend time with us and have a positive attitude.
We had our first class this past Tuesday and even though we had only 1 volunteer, we still made it work and we all had fun, and the parents were so appreciative. The classes are very popular and we will have more families attending in the upcoming weeks, which means more kids to look after, so we can definitely use your help!

Description
We have several opportunties for volunteers to become a mentor to students and to help students to complete assignments. Teachers also need assistance grading papers and putting together projects. Our office staff can keep a volunteer busy with day to day tasks throughout the school and our librarian would love help shelving books and assisting students when looking for their "just right book".
