All adults are invited to participate in a fun evening of dinner, drinks, and decorating to prepare for our Halloween Open House at TBMS! Halloween Open House is fun community event that engages trick-or-treaters and their families in day of craft and music making while also enjoying our student-based Spooky Recital! Come support our NYC community or your love for music education by decking out our school the night before this annual event. (Adult volunteers under 21 must have a supervising adult present who is 21 or older.)

Founded in 1925, Turtle Bay Music School is one of the oldest community music schools in the United States. We are a charter member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts, which represents over 350 schools throughout the country. Since our founding, Turtle Bay has focused on a mission of fostering love and knowledge of music by providing high quality music instruction and a range of related programs and activities to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of ability. We offer a wide variety of free and subsidized programs to make the joy of music accessible to all.
