We are seeking committed volunteers to assist with crucial operations for our Extended Day Program (EDP). EDP Facilitators are responsible for greeting students during snack or dinner and taking attendance. Facilitators will also assist the Extended Day Program Manager with recording attendance in spreadsheets, organizing club materials (i.e. clip boards, supplies, and attendance notes), and ensuring students successfully transition from tutoring classrooms to enrichment club opportunities located throughout the building. This position entails mid-level engagement with children.

Description

The Refugee Center & Community School at Reynolds Middle School is a full-service community school in the School District of Lancaster, run in partnership with Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13. We serve the whole child--mentally, emotionally, and socially. In service of this mission, RMS offers an Extended Day Program (EDP) at RMS throughout the school year, giving students a safe place to hang out after school, extra help with homework, and enrichment opportunities. RCCSR also offers parent workshops, refugee student support services, cultural navigation, and a uniform bank, all for students and their families.
