Kids’ Turn is a workshop series for families navigating separation and divorce offered in 5 counties throughout the Bay Area (cities include: San Mateo, Pleasanton, San Rafael, San Francisco, Oakland). Kids’ Turn volunteers help workshop facilitators keep youth participants engaged by distributing learning materials, reinforcing instructions, and answering questions. Volunteers commit to the full life-cycle of a single workshop series - one 2.5-hour session per week for one month (typically 4 Saturday mornings). All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to participate and complete a Background Check. Workshops run in two semesters: January - May and August - December.
