The American Heart Association is seeking day-of event volunteers to assist at the 2017 South Sound Heart & Stroke Walk. The walk is taking place on Saturday, September 30th at Cheney Stadium.
We are seeking volunteers for "Shift 1"- which is from 6am-9:30am. This group of volunteers will ensure the event is completely setup and gets off to a great start.
Some tasks these volunteers could expect to help with are:
-Setting up tents
-Hanging banners
-Staging marketing materials/signs
-Tying balloons
-"manning" booths
-Passing out water
-Taking photos
-Greeting and directing participants
-Assisting with the route
