Come and cheer on riders as they end their journey back into camp at the MS Society's 2 day bike fundraiser!
Event: Bike MS: Waves to Wine 2016
Date: Saturday, September 25th
Time: 10:30AM-5:00PM, shifts available
Location: Sonoma Mountain Village, 1400 Valley House Dr., Rohnert Park
Volunteer Description: We need enthusiastic volunteers to come and cheer in our riders as they complete their 2 day bike journey. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, raising over 2 million dollars in 2015. Our riders can ride up to 150 miles over the weekend, raising money for people living with MS. The funds provide programs and services, advocasy and research.
Bring your energy and we will supply the food, shirt and pom poms!

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of MS.
Description
Founded in 1946, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society supports more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs, and furthers more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world.
We do this through the extensive research we support to find the cause, cure and improved treatments of the disease; the comprehensive services we provide to people with MS and their families; the professional education programs we offer to assist health care providers better serve their MS patients; and through our advocacy efforts on state and federal levels to encourage public policies supportive of the needs of people with multiple sclerosis. This is why we at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are here.
Volunteers are vital to the work of the National MS Society. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: to want to do something about MS NOW. Your valuable skills and fresh perspectives will make the Society a stronger and better organization. There are so many ways to contribute, whether through advocacy, programs, fund-raising or special projects. We can always use your help.
