Mission Statement

Provide a safe place for at risk youth and connect them with resources and healthy relationships that offer and afford them opportunities to positively change their life situations.

Description

Bridge Network is a public charity 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2011 to provide resources for at-risk youth in the greater Sacramento region. Bridge Network’s vision is to be a connecting conduit between mentors, advocates, other service provider agencies and community based organizations. We also run a community center for at-risk youth in the Avondale neighborhood in the south-east area of Sacramento providing afterschool programs, life-skills and recreational activities as a positive outlet.

Today we focus on 3 key areas that we call P.I.E . ( Prevention, Intervention and Education.) We have expanded our mentoring and life-skill programs inside and out of the Youth Detention Facilities in Sacramento County to Sacramento Main Jail, Rio Consumes Correctional Facility and to Solano County in summer 2016 and are looking to expand to Placer County in the fall of 2016. In our P.I.E. model, we incorporate prevention, education and intervention with targeted programs with academics, workforce development, character building, healthy lifestyles/behaviors, the arts, sports, fitness, recreation and relationship building.
