Would you like to be a "mobile" ambassador for the Jamaica Bay Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area? Can you engage visitors, answer questions and give directions, and ride a bike on primarily flat surfaces? Then help us by volunteering to
- Ride along the multi-use path to a Jamaica Bay Unit location at least once a week
-Interpret the history, significance and physical features of the park
-Answer questions about the location of visitor center, restroom, concessions, etc.
-Promote programs, upcoming events and activities, and other features of the park
-Call for assistance in case of emergency, or other visitor assistance, and other duties as requested
