Mission Statement
We dedicate ourselves to overcoming poverty and injustice by improving the quality of life through the sustainable development of communities in Haiti.
Description
Our Vision is to Assess, Create, Implement, and Publish a Model for Development: To see Grand’Anse, Jeremie, and Robert become the Model to Develop States, Cities, & Villages within Haiti.
Partnering with community leaders and other institutions, FHD seeks to help develop a successful model of Community Development by addressing both external poverty (community infrastructure, food, water, health, education, etc.) and internal poverty (hopelessness, apathy, timidity, and desperation).
We pledge to work from both ends of the spectrum, laboring to apprehend the internal and external identity of poverty. We are committed to continually pursue the alignment of both a developed people and a developed community.
