The BBQ Bash is a family friendly event with a Kids zone, Car show, Live Bands, Silent Auction and much more. We need A Lot of volunteers to make our third annual event a successful one. The following volunteer opportunities are available:

  • Marketing prior to event (can start now)
  • 9/28 Noon - 5:00 pm delivery of games and food from Midlothian location to Ellis County Expo Center
  • 9/28 clean up, zone prep, decorating
  • 9/30 100 volunteers needed to help cover different areas i.e. kids zone, concession, clean up
  • 10/1 load and deliver games from Expo Center to Midlothian location 2 - 3 man crew
  • 10/1 5 - 6 person cleaning crew

Founded in 2012 by MeLissa and Michael Boler, Bridges Training Foundation is a complete life center for individuals with disabilities
or special needs, their families, and the greater community. Specifically, our clients and their families struggle with Down syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder, and a number of other intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) diagnoses.

It’s about focusing on the needs of every individual and ensuring the right conditions are in place for each person to achieve his or her full potential. Our goal is to elevate individuals with disabilities lives beyond limits and labels toward more independent living through education, encouragement, support and inclusion - one person, one family, one community at a time.
