ORGANIZATION: Open Signal - Portland Community Media Center

  • 3 people are interested

At Open Signal we have a community of veteran and new editors that need guidance on their Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, After Effects and Premiere Pro projects (and sometimes other programs that we don't teach, so extra editing software knowledge is a plus) from time to time, so we put in place a volunteer-manned resource to meet that need.

So this position is somewhat a teaching duty as well as troubleshooting.

This position is every Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm in our lobby. You will be provided any equipment you need to accomplish troubleshooting.

It's great volunteering with Open Signal because you will get to network with media techies and garner an interest in learning more in the production field. You'll also build credits towards attending one of the many media production classes we offer at a discount or free!
